Self Portrait

"Self Portrait" was done in waterbased acrylics on a hard board for framing. It also was a portrait with my Beautiful wife Allison whom I love Dearly.

Larry,

Much love is transmitted in this piece. Lots of positive energy flows from the canvas. The mustache appears jagged like a knife, indicating you like it and it makes you feel masculine. Lots of little things like that emanate from a self-portrait. For example, see Frank's self portrait above in which it appears his skin is removed, exposing musculature beneath. This is a real introspective look at Frank, you can sense his intensity.

Your piece here expresses comfort and safety. It makes me feel happy for you.

I am writing this on Good Friday, I hope that brings you luck.

Dale
